Home cooks who took our recipes outside. Rise & Grill started as a place to share simple recipes and how-to videos—proof that anyone can give it a crack. Somewhere along the way, camping took over. There’s nothing like a beachfront fire, lighting the charcoal, and hearing that first crackle of crispy pork belly.

We began with the bare basics—tiny tent in Canada, a single frypan over the fire, no plates or cutlery—just eat from the pan and call it dinner. Back in Australia, we learned the local way and levelled up from an old Nissan Patrol that barely fit the BBQs to a brand-new Mazda BT-50 kitted with an MRT canopy. Now the whole kitchen rolls with us: a full pantry of rubs and supplies, drawers for utensils and fire-starting gear, the charcoal cooker, the pizza oven—everything in its place.

Pull up, pop the canopy, and we’re cooking: fresh taco wraps over the fire, low-and-slow at camp, handmade pizzas for family and friends. We didn’t realise how much we needed this setup until we had it—it just fits our lifestyle. And we can’t wait to share the next cook-up with the MRT community.
