Easy to Moderate 4WD at Reef Beach - The track in is a hard-bottomed dirt track, with overgrown shrubbery that will be sure to scratch your paint.

Morning: 
Top up on supplies (fuel and any forgotten items) at Bremer Bay before heading towards Reef Beach. Navigate the tight and overgrown track along a hard dirt surface down towards Reef Beach.

Afternoon:
Once on the beach, head to your right and along the beach over the sand dunes that creep down and meet the ocean, and finally into the dune system where there is a camping area. Spots are not designated and camping is free!

Once there, set up camp and relax or go and explore the surrounding areas. Swimming isn’t advised on this beach as it’s known by the locals as “Shark Alley” and the currents can be quite strong.

Evening: 
Enjoy a relaxing beach camp under the stars and get ready for some more exploring tomorrow!

Morning: 
There are some nice viewpoints around the camping area that you can drive to the top of and engage low range. The climbs are easy but provide a great view of the surrounding beaches.

From here you can head towards Beaufort Inlet. We took the ‘adventurous’ route down onto the next beach west towards Beaufort Inlet. However, due to high tide, we were unable to continue along the beach or make it up the sand dune that bypassed the beach.

So we opted to come back the way we came, along Reef Beach Rd, Boundary Rd, then back down to the beach via Pallinup Estuary Rd. As a result, we got to our next camp at Pallinup Beach on the Beafort Inlet at approximately 9:30 pm.

Afternoon:
If you had taken the more direct route to the beach and not explored getting bogged – you could spend the afternoon relaxing on the beach and exploring/ fishing before another stunning beach camp.
