MRT “#mymrtgear” Competition – Terms & Conditions
1. Promoter
The promoter is MRT, located at 14 Dixon St, Yatala QLD 4207, Australia.
2. Eligibility
Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 years and over who own or use MRT products. Employees, contractors, and immediate family members of MRT are not eligible to enter.
3. Entry Period
Entries are open year-round, with two draws per year:
- Summer draw – winner announced at the end of February
- Winter draw – winner announced at the end of August
Entries submitted during each half-year period are eligible for that round’s judging.
4. How to Enter
To enter, participants must:
- Take a photo or video showcasing how they use their MRT setup.
- Upload their entry via the official competition page here.
- Optionally share their entry and invite friends and family to vote.
Entrants can submit multiple entries provided each showcases a different setup or scenario.
5. Judging Criteria
This is a game of skill. Chance plays no part in determining the winner.
Entries will be judged by the MRT Marketing Team based on the following criteria:
- Creativity and originality of the photo or video
- Quality of the content (composition, clarity, storytelling)
- How effectively the entry showcases MRT products in real-world use
Public votes may be considered as part of the judging process but will not determine the winner.
6. Prize
Each winner will receive a $5,000 MRT voucher, redeemable on MRT products or accessories.
- Vouchers are not transferable, not exchangeable, and not redeemable for cash.
7. Winner Notification
The winner will be contacted within five business days of judging and announced on MRT’s website and social media channels.
8. Unclaimed Prizes
If the winner cannot be contacted within 14 days, MRT reserves the right to select another entry.
9. Use of Entries
By entering, participants:
- Grant MRT a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, and publish their submitted photo or video, name, and social media handle for promotional, marketing, and publicity purposes in any format and media.
- Confirm they own the rights to the submitted material and that it does not infringe any third-party rights.
10. Privacy
Personal information collected from entrants will be used only for administering the competition and in accordance with MRT’s [Privacy Policy] Entrants’ names and entries may be published publicly as part of the promotion.
11. General Conditions
- MRT reserves the right to verify entries and disqualify any that are incomplete, misleading, or breach these Terms.
- MRT reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or amend the competition if necessary due to events beyond its control.
- MRT is not responsible for any technical failures, lost entries, or damage arising from participation or prize use.
- Nothing in these Terms limits the rights of entrants under the Australian Consumer Law.
12. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
